The Traveling Thoughts book, to me, is what the “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” is to Bridget, Carmen, Lena and Tibby. It creates this unity amongst people, something we desperately need at this time.
It erases geographical borders, personal differences and allows art and storytelling to rise through rituals of small talk.
So in a sense, the traveling thoughts book is not only a physical entity, but also an entity that unifies us.
Madaline Marrar is the amazing woman who started this!
Madaline Marrar was born in the U.S and living in Ammar, she is a graphic designer, but first and foremost, an artist. She loves to CREATE. Through the Traveling Thoughts Book, she has also given others the opportunity to create and thus, EXPRESS.
She has given those who have lost their voice amongst the tragedies happening all over the world a chance to speak up. To be heard.
The book has made it across national borders, and collaborating with Speak Trauma, we are excited to see what the future holds!
